Deborah Devine – Project #3

This size 8 Lady upcycled an XL jacket into this Windham Kantha Inspired Moto-Jacket, Skirt, and Cowboy Boots. I incorporated all of the zippers from the original jacket, added new sleeves and mimicked the Kantha quilting on the jean lower sleeve  area. A Kantha fabric yoke is featured on the back of the jacket. The skirt was made from a pair of Upcycled Joe Jeans. I used both the right side and the wrong side of the Kantha fabric on the lower skirt area. The cowboy boots were modified and rolled down to a low boot with Kantha fabric cuffs and cut up upcycled western style belts.
