My daughter loves to dance & we signed her up for a 5 day dance camp, “Barbie & the Pink Dance Shoes”. This is going to be out trial run to see if dance is an investment we will make in her life & since we haven’t danced yet we have no leotards. The price of dance gear is so high I wondered if I could make something myself. Before spending lots of money of fabric I decided to do an upcycle to see if I could actually tackle a dance outfit. Using 2 old black T-shirts of mine, I whipped up the leotard & then freehanded a pattern to make a cute skirt out of some fabric I picked up. We are all ready to dance! Now to make more 🙂
