I always have a drawer full of clothes to upcycle, things my husband has given me, things I don’t wear anymore, or things that I found at the thrift store that would make great “fabric.” I dug through that drawer to find some things to sew with, and since sewing baby clothes is my FAVORITE, that’s what I made. This is leggings, a racerback tunic, and a headband, all from discarded clothing! I preserved the hems of the original garments on the top, and leggings, for the hems of my new garments, and the side seams on the top, for the skirt portion of the bodice. Both patterns were slightly modified for my purposes. I used tips 3, 4, 6, 7, and 8 from your kick off post!
