This year, my New Years’ Resolution was not to buy any new clothes for myself. If I needed something, I have to make it.

When this Upcycling Challenge came up, it was taking my own personal challenge to the next level–not only not buy clothes, but now I shouldn’t buy fabric. So, I can only work with what I already have.

For this challenge, I decided to turn my “outgrown” pants to something I can wear again. It seems that the overalls/pinafore look is the trend right now, so I decided to jump on it. I used new fabric from my stash to line the bib piece. I now have a wearable pinafore dress!
