Patricia Brown

My name is Patricia Brown from Bowling Green Ky.  I upcycled a pair of my husbands jeans into a shoulder bag.  I used two new fabrics in a coral print and a teal print.  I added some lace and flowers along with some lovely buttons that I bought.  I was inspired by a pattern called the Bella Bag and also inspired by she shabby chic look I have seen on pinterest.  I was also inspired by Candice using what I have at the house.

I’m quite proud of how this turned out.  It’s comfortable to carry as well as lovely to look at.  I used my sewing machine and had to hand sew several parts.
