Week 2: UPCYCLING CHALLENGE
Hi guys,
Last night in our FB LIVE Weekly round up of the #CAUpcyclingChallenge2019, I promised to share with you week 3’s exciting giveaway via the blog! If you missed that video, you can find it HERE.
Recently, I reviewed a new [NEW TO ME], type of fabric called KANTHA that Windham Fabrics now carries. It is very beautiful and very different from the regular one ply fabric we know.
In the video I also shared 2 upcycled projects I made using Kantha, so head on over to YouTube to check it out.
Once you’re over there, comment on that video and tell us what you would make with Kantha for a chance to win 2 yards of Kantha and a bunch of fun knickknacks from Nancy’s Notions. [pictured below] Open to participants worldwide.
You can comment on the video as many times as you like, with ideas you might have for Kantha! We’ll announce the winner in our next LIVE video on Wednesday 7/24/2019! Until then! Have a great week!

Gorgeous fabric! Love the history of it and how they still hand embroider it now. I would make a fall jacket for my granddaughter.
I’m newly retired and have a 2 year old granddaughter and a 5 month old grandson and I’m doing lots of upcycle clothing for them. Your Instragram posts inspired me!
