I have had so much fun with this challenge. My husband saw the things I was making and wanted to get in on it so he gave me a pair of his pants that were stained beyond repair and asked me to turn them into something new. I added a thrifted lace-back shirt and some beautiful Michael Miller cotton fabric that I was lucky enough to find at a local fabric store. The mens pants made up the hat, the bodice of the dress, and the shorts. The lace-backed shirt was used as an overlay on the bodice and hat.
